Hartford Elementary students joined in the fun of Homecoming Week with some very special visitors on the playground this morning! Between the football action and the cheers ringing across the yard, it was hard to tell who was having more fun. We love celebrating our schools alongside the older Trojans. A huge thank you to the football and cheerleading teams for spending time with our kids today—it truly was a highlight for everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Trojan Marching Band on an incredible weekend at the Festival of Bands! They placed 1st in parade for Class AA and also received People’s Choice. Our News Media class made a special thank you for our custodial staff. Thank you custodians! You make our schools shine!

A special congratulations to Humboldt Elementary's September Students of Character. These students received the most Trojan Tributes during the month of September for being responsible, respectful, and safe in school. Each winner will enjoy Big J's lunch with a friend to celebrate their positive choices. Pictured (L to R): Ada Mae Stofferahn (1st), Alana Passmore (4th), Abi McMahon (5th).

🎉 Let’s hear it for Hartford Elementary’s Terrific Trojan winners for the month of September! 🎉
Throughout the month, students can be awarded a Terrific Trojan for consistently going above and beyond in being responsible, respectful, and safe. Each time a student earns this recognition, their name goes into a drawing for a special monthly reward! This month, we had a donut picnic on the playground!
Way to go, Terrific Trojans! 💙💛

Today marked our first Trojan Store Day of the year at Hartford Elementary! 🎉
Students were so excited to spend the Trojan Bucks they’ve earned this month by showing respect, responsibility, and safety on fun items and memorable experiences. Their hard work, positive choices, and school pride were on full display—and the joy on their faces said it all!
As we look ahead to next month’s Trojan Store, we’re thrilled to announce new partnerships with local businesses like Air Madness and Sky Zone, as well as area sports teams including the Sioux Falls Skyforce and Stampede!
These partnerships will give our students the chance to use their Trojan Bucks on incredible experiences and opportunities. Stay tuned for more details—we can’t wait to share what’s coming! 💙💛
