Thank you to the American Legion for teaching a new generation proper flag etiquette in Civics class! This is an annual tradition in Mrs. Bohl's class, and we love to see young people embracing their patriotic duties!

The winter sports season is coming up fast. The 2025-2026 Winter Sports Meeting for coaches and parents will be Monday, November 17th @ 6:00 p.m. in the West Central High School Auditorium. This is an important time for all our coaches and parents to meet and go over rules and expectations for the coming season. Also, it will give Chad Morrison, our athletic trainer, an opportunity to speak to all parents about the athletic training side of things. Please mark the date and time on your calendar.

Hartford Elementary will host an Appreciation Parade for Veterans tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th, at 2:45 p.m., on 2nd Street between Feyder Avenue and Vandemark Avenue.
All Hartford Elementary students will be lining the streets to show their appreciation for veterans and their service to our country. We invite our local veterans and community members to join us as we honor and celebrate those who have served!

We celebrated our monthly Trojan Tribute winners last week. The sixth-grade winner was Dirk Eekhoff who celebrated with his friend, Cooper Nelson. The seventh-grade winner was Hemera Gilbert joined by her friend Lorianna Alexander. Brody Miles and Madilynn Schaaf were our eight-grade winners. A special congratulations to Humboldt Elementary's October Students of Character.
